Ferrets Go Fishing in Angler’s Mail!

Humphrey and Boris here, preparing for Christmas break. We are getting ready to head out to the lake, to catch a few days of fishing before we join our families for Christmas day. Nothing like escaping over-excited kits!

We’ve packed a copy of the December issue of Angler’s Mail, which has a half a page feature on two very handsome Fisher Ferrets (*cough* us *cough*). It will make some great light reading, while we’re waiting for the fish to bite.

Apparently we’re more popular than ‘scantily clad women’ in the Angling world…maybe next year we should do a naked Ferrets Go Fishing calendar with well placed rods.

Joking, joking!

Right we must dash – lots of fish to catch and then put back!

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Humphrey & Boris

Make Over Mechanics Featured In The Daily Mail

Hey Maverick Friends, Funny Animal Lovers and Pet Fanatics

Bodgett here!

Hope you have all had a lovely summer and are all looking forward to Christmas. Both I and Scarper have had a really busy time this year. We decided to stop painting and decorating as we felt that we needed more of a challenge. I got in touch with a mate of a mate and then all of a sudden we were underneath cars fixing exhausts, looking into engines and also spray painting.

make-over mutts_Page 1 copyThe Motor Trade has been a right laugh; I have been enjoying myself very much.

Some of our pictures managed to be featured in The Daily Mail Newspaper, this exposure has pulled a lot of business our way which is great!

The Calendar in which we are featured has been very popular and is available in The Make Over Mechanics Section on the Arts Club Homepage.

Maverick comes to 2010 in Style

Hi Maverick Fans, Mrs Moggs here, yes it’s that time of year again, it’s the time for me to tell you all about how very busy we have been since Christmas. I can’t even begin to explain the adventures of all my friends, However I have been doing lot’s and lot’s of housework as usual.

well there is loads of gossip that you all must be eager to hear…

Firstly Freddie and Mollie, have been busy with their three puppies who are actually better at waterskiing than their dad. Freddie has also been teaching his best friend Sarah how to fly an aeroplane whilst they enjoyed a Beach Adventure, Freddie’s skills never cease to amaze me, I guess we are all in awe of him over here at Maverick arts club.

Willie and Nillie our sports fanatics have been really busy since Christmas, not only have they continued to compete against each other, they both also entered the World’s Strongest Guinea Pig Competition, thankfully the duo managed to document their experiences in a book, which you can buy here from the Maverick Arts Club.

The Little Piglets have still been fine tuning their cooking skills, and they too have also written a cookbook for you all to learn with your mum’s and dad’s. I’ve been trying to teach my daughter Miss Moggs how to make the ‘Knicker-Trota-Glory’. In a recent chat I had with Poppy who is one of the best chefs I know from The Little Piglets, she said ” Our Cook Book is just simply fantastic, we have spent so much time and effort in making all the food taste great and carefully writing down all the recipes so that everyone else can do what we have done.”

2010 also sees the introduction of our favourite Ferret Friends Humphrey and Boris, they love fishing and have a calendar and greetings cards featuring some of their best times together. Bodgett and Scarper are back again this year attempting to be mechanics, buy their calendar to see how they get on in the Motor Trade.

The Big News! here at Maverick Arts Club is we now have Children’s Books available for you to get your paws on. Members can get great deals on children’s book titles as we are offering any three books for £15. Not only have we got books written by The Piglets and Willie and Nillie, we also have some more FRESH, FUN and Funky titles such as Clever Dick’s Animal Quiz Book, come and see if you are more clever than Dick!!, Suzi’s Smarty Pants, which is a story of a little girl who doesn’t like school untill she receives a special pair of smarty pants and we also have the adventures of Princess Chloe and the Sugar Bun Fairies come and see what these girls get up to in their magical castle in Sugary Hollow.

I hope you have all enjoyed my Blog and untill next time. I’ll see you all later in the year.

Love You Lots,

Mrs Moggs

Piggin’ Out in the Eastenders Cafe…

Hey Folks, how’s it hogging’?

It’s Billie here, giving you the low down of all that is new with us Little Piglets.

As you may have seen on television, our If Pigs Could Fry calendar is hanging up inside the Eastenders cafe. It has been very interesting for us to be stuck inside a cafe as we all have learned many tricks of the trade so to speak.

We are in fact hoping one day we too can open our own cafe and then also run a successful chain of restaurants . Me and the rest of the Little Piglet gang constantly talk about what we will call our restaurant I want to called it Billie’s although Poppy always tells me I always think about myself, but she wants to called it Pinkies, I’m a proper pig so Pinkies is too girly for me. Yeah! Billie’s is a perfect name.

Whilst we have been in the Eastenders cafe ,we have decided to put all our efforts together to work on making a children’s cook book, this book will be available next year and so far all the recipes are looking very yummy indeed, this book project has even gotten Hamish excited, usually he is pretty lazy about things … a few months ago we made a Vegetarian Lasagne together and all Hamish did was grate the cheese.

We are all very proud of all the things we have achieved and very much look forward to making our Little Piglets cookbook which will be available on this website and many shops in 2009. Also if you wish to purchase the 2009 If Pigs Could Fry Calendar you can purchase it from this website and if you are based in the UK the calendar will be available in the high street shop W.H.Smiths.

See Ya’ Soon

Billie
