In 2009 at the London Book Fair, Maverick Arts Publishing launched as a Children’s Book Publisher. The first books to be published used Maverick’s characters from the calendars – such as Willie & Nillie.
Maverick Children’s Books then developed and stepped away from the calendars, publishing a further six books in February 2010.
